Terms & Conditions

1.   Adjustments to membership types can only be made upon renewal.

2.   Joining Fee/Administration Fee is non-refundable.

3.   Once payment has been received, no refunds will be made.

4.   I shall duly notify the Bank in writing if I wish to cancel my Direct Debit.  I shall also notify Askeaton Pool & Leisure of my intentions to cancel my Direct Debit.  One months notice is required in writing to Askeaton Pool & Leisure to terminate my Leisure Club Membership.

5.   All payments/rates are inclusive of VAT and are subject to change without notice.

6.   The final entry for Off Peak Members is 16:00pm (Monday – Friday) and 11:00am (Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays), and all such members must vacate the Leisure Club by the time(s) stated.

7.   All members must produce a membership’s card upon admission at the Leisure Club Reception Desk.  Failing to do so may result in access to the Leisure Facilities, being denied.

8.   Children aged 4 years and over are eligible to be included in membership fees. 

9.   All Babies/Toddlers must wear little swimmers. These can be purchased at the leisure club reception desk.

10. Adults (18+) must accompany children, under the age of 11 years old, in the water at all times.

11. Management reserves the right of admission, with the right to remove any person(s) from the Leisure Club and terminate membership without explanation or refund.

12. All person(s) using the leisure facilities do so entirely at their own risk.

13. Management will not accept responsiblity for any loss, damage, injury or theft.  Any personal items must be locked securely in the lockers provided.  Please use the lockers provided to store your clothing and valuables, while using the Leisure Facilities.

14. No person(s) under the age of 16 years  are allowed to use the gymnasium or the health suite area (Steam/Sauna Room/Jacuzzi).

15. All person(s) must shower down before using the swimming pool, sauna & steam room.

16. Management reserve the right to close the Leisure Club or alter the opening hours should the need arise.

17. Children over the age of 8 years old are not permitted to use the changing area of the opposite gender/sex.

18. Swimming Hats are to be worn at all times.

19. Photographic objects/materials are not permitted in the Leisure Club at any time.

20. Mobile phones are to be switched off or on silent mode.  Please respect the privacy of other users of the Leisure Club.

21. No Diving, Bombing, Running or Jumping.  Notices are provided and on display throughout the leisure club to prevent injury and Health & Safety. Anyone who does not abide by these rules may be asked to leave the leisure club.

22. Fitness classes are charged @ €2.00 per class for a member and must be paid at reception before commencement of the class.
